aTerra's has until now focused on creating content for the Internet and
on-line services. We have created the award winning directory, Maple
Square - Canada's Internet Directory, now licensed to the largest ISP in
Canada, content for America Online and other services.
We feel that we must have better control how our content is delivered and
that is why we are now developing Agent technologies. We are looking for a
dynamic, aggressive person to head up our software division.
Our company is very young, just a year old, yet we have accomplished a lot.
You would join our team as a co-owner through share option programs.
You would need to relocate to beautiful Salt Spring Island (Most sunshine
hours in Canada, mild winters), the heart of the Gulf Islands in British
Columbia. We are situated 1/'2 flying time to Vancouver. We have new
offices being built for a May opening and will have our own T3 in a mini
silicon valley we are building here.
Qualifications:
==========
- Have worked with Agent technology on the Internet for over 2 years
- Be familiar with creating Internet bots/spiders
- OS: Microsoft NT
- Programming: Visual Basic, FoxPro, C++, Java, Perl, Object Oriented
