In order to render that possibility a reality, we are seeking a talented individual capable of meaningful contributions to the design and implementation of the project. The individual in mind would help guide the existing architecture and provide input for future directions. The position is defined as follows: Senior Research Engineer, Web Technologies - Cambridge, MA Responsibilities: As a member of a small team, design and develop a prototype and an infrastructure for a Java-based mobile agent system. Contribute to the following stages of software development including design, development, testing and deployment. The major challenge is to build a system that is functional, creative, and can be well integrated with the state of the art in mobile agent computing. Requirements: BS/MS in Computer Science, 3+ years of development experience including operating systems, mobile agent technologies; experience with mobility, process migration and/or distributed computing preferred. In-depth knowledge of Java (or other OO language, e.g. C++) and understanding of Web technologies and protocols. An ability to learn quickly, be creative, and enjoy innovative technology is a must.
