Philips Research Palo Alto is located in Silicon Valley. It is part of
the worldwide research organization of Philips Electronics N.V., a
leader in electronic systems, components and interactive multimedia
systems and software with over $31 billion in annual sales.
Candidates for this position will be part of a team exploring web-based
software agent applications including information access, multimedia
collaboration, and multiplayer games.
Successful candidates should have experience in software agent design
and systems architecture design, and should have previously
participated in the construction of a software agent application.
Experience with Java and KQML is a plus. Candidates should have an MS
or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering with ample
experience in application development and systems programming.
